This class is more then a class it's like hanging out with your family. It is a fun, hard way to kick yourself into shape. I love it and recommend it to any one that want to get going with a new healthy life I did with my whole family.

Hey everyone, I’ve recently started kickboxing here at UMAC.. the classes are great and after only two weeks I have lost two inches off my waist and two off my thighs.... on top of that the instructors are amazing!!!! Supportive and inspirational during classes... I can’t say enough about this place!!!!

UMAC is one of the very few places where I feel that I am surrounded by family and friends. I do not train with "my" family, but UMAC has become my family. When I walk into the dojang at the end of my work day I can almost feel the weight of the day being lifted off of my. By the time I am done on the mat, nothing that was bothering me is important anymore. The friends I have made here make me feel good about me ALL the time. Thank you UMAC

When I think of UMAC there are a few words that come my mind immediately. Those words are family, strength, and love. These three words represent how I feel when I step onto the mat with my daughter and husband. No other place I know allows us to unite as a family, as we grow in strength and walk out encapsulated in love for UMAC and for each other. This experience is none other than priceless.

I could not be happier with our experience with UMAC! The fantastic instructors are such incredible people and great role models for my 8 year old son. Since we started about 2 months ago I have seen improvement in my sons focus and listening skills which had been an issue. Love it!

I have to call this family of martial arts masters, "The Incredibles." I've watched them consistently grow in knowledge, skill ,teaching ability and love for the members of their school. They are always looking for better ways to improve their members lives and experience at their school. But the best proof of their amazing super powers are the incredible joy in the member's heart and eyes, the phenomenal strength and transformation that takes place there, the extraordinary level of high character they produce in the children. This family and school is definitely extraordinary. A great place to come to for developing your child's or your own super powers.

Tips to Keep Kids Eating Right

Tips to Keep Kids Eating Right
In addition to not expending much energy, kids who participate in sedentary activities often practice unhealthy snacking, which further contributes to weight gain. Other than physical activity, the best method to help control weight is to eat nutritious meals regularly. Here are a few ways to help children healthy by encouraging them to eat right.

•Enjoy family meals prepared at home. Studies show that children who eat meals frequently at home and with their families have better nutritional intake and a reduced risk for obesity. Once again, as adult role models, when we allow children to assist us in preparing meals at home and eating with us, it invites them to learn healthy traditions that can stay with them the rest of their lives.

•When children are on the run, don’t let them head straight for ready-to-eat processed foods that are high in calories, sugar, fat and sodium. Cut out fast food or, if you must, encourage them to choose healthy alternatives—apples over fries, sweet potato fries over regular fries. Encourage whole fruits for snacks instead of chips, milk or water instead of soda.

•◦As part of a nutritious breakfast, children can enjoy a quick-and-easy IsaLean® Shake, which is high in protein, contains balanced amounts of carbohydrates and “good” fats, is low in sodium, and contain a broad spectrum of vitamins and minerals. Children also enjoy taking IsaLean Bars to school as afternoon snacks.
◦Replace sugary sodas and drinks with IsaFruits®, a drink powder mix that provides children with the antioxidant equivalent of having consumed more than 30 different fruits without consuming all the sugar.
